It’s important that your prescription for lymphedema treatment is complete. If anything is missing, the RAMQ may refuse your claim for compression garments.
Similarly, your insurer may refuse your claim for the lymphatic decongestive treatment recommended before ordering your first compression garment, or your claim for the portion of your compression garments not reimbursed by the RAMQ.
The LAQ has prepared a sample prescription to help you ensure that you benefit from all available financial assistance.
