How can I monitor myself without stress?

A good way to monitor your at-risk limb(s) is to take measurements once a month, or before starting any new exercise program.

If only one of your limbs is at risk of lymphedema, compare the measurements with those of the limb not at risk. If both limbs are at risk, compare your measurements with those of the previous month. Don’t forget to note your weight, which can influence your measurements.

To measure your limbs easily, get the LAQ tape measure and our step-by-step guide with photos.
